Rabbit Hawker's Dogs

There are 4 main dog breeds for hunting rabbits in North America. They are the Beagle, the Jack Russell's, the Miniature Dachshund, and the Brittany Spaniel. The first three were bred specifically for rabbit hunting. The Brittany was bred to combine a pointing dog with a rabbit dog. Each are highly successful and utilized every day by falconers everywhere.
