Susukino in Sapporo might seem like a typical Japanese inner-city district. But when the sun goes down and the neon lights turn on, the vibe switches to vibrant and energetic. Hang out with me in Sapporo’s playground, where we all go to let our hair down and chow down on some delectable eats. This time we duck into a conveyor belt sushi shop before singing a few rounds of Roxy Music. It’s a cool night in October 2001 and the city lights are calling!

This is an 8‑page printable mini zine: full‑color but intentionally muted and slightly imperfect for an archival, tactile feel. Each issue collects small photo studies from my travels across Japan & Korea — close encounters, street scenes, impressions and observances. Every page includes glued‑on strips of minimal typewriter text and small visual flaws left in place to emphasize memory and materiality.
