Sometimes everyone around you seems to know.

They know what happened. They know who is right. They know what you should believe.

And you are still trying to understand.

When other people's certainty becomes overwhelming, it can be tempting to assume that your uncertainty means you are missing something—or that you should simply borrow someone else's confidence.

But confidence is not the same as knowledge.

This Guided Pathway explores what happens when certainty becomes a social pressure, how to examine what confident claims are actually based on, and how to remain engaged with a question when the answer is still unfinished.

You will move through three stages:

The pull of certainty — recognizing why other people's confidence can make your own uncertainty feel like a problem.

The practice of discernment — separating what happened, what is known, what is inferred, and what remains uncertain.

The courage of not-yet-knowing — learning that “I don't know yet” can be an honest position rather than a failure of judgment.

You will work with four questions:

What do I actually know?

What am I assuming?

What am I being pressured to believe?

What do I still need to find out?

This Pathway does not tell you what to believe.

It does not ask you to distrust everyone.

It does not turn uncertainty into cynicism.

Instead, it creates room for a more grounded position:

I don't know yet—and I am still willing to find out.

You do not need to borrow someone else's certainty while you are still finding out what you believe.
