LEGO Batman Cowl Instructions
Presenting my wearable LEGO Batman Cowl! With 1342 pieces, this model is a large and complex model to build, but is fairly lightweight and easy to handle! Attaching certain segments may be challenging, but once it's all together the helmet is quite sturdy.
The build is optimised for affordability - anything in the instructions that's coloured lime green is internal structure, and as such can be any colour! They are in the parts list as colour "not applicable", for ease of uploading into Bricklink.
This cowl is based on an amalgamation of several Batman variations. It uses white panels for the eyes that you can't see through, but you can remove these panels if you'd like to see out of it - I use a white mesh to give it the comic-book eyes while still being able to see out.
UPDATE: A minor error was found with the first run of instructions - in steps 52, 63, 91, and 102, a 1x2 plate was used instead of a 2x2. The instructions and parts list have now been updated to replace this part - you will require an additional 8 2x2 plates in any colour to replace the 1x2 plates in any colour. ![]()
