David and Goliath

David and Goliath: The Shepherd Who Was Brave

Children's Bible Series

He was just a shepherd boy with a sling and five smooth stones — but he trusted a God big enough to face any giant.

In this beautifully illustrated retelling of 1 Samuel 17, young readers ages 6-12 follow David from the quiet hillsides of Bethlehem to the battle line where he faced Goliath, the nine-foot Philistine champion no soldier in Israel dared to fight. Through vivid storytelling and full-color illustrations, kids will discover that courage doesn't come from size or strength — it comes from trusting God
