"Charlotte and the Harlots" was the pseudonym used by the legendary heavy metal band Iron Maiden for a secret warm-up gig at the L’Amour club in Brooklyn, New York. The show served as an unrehearsed warm-up for the North American leg of their Seventh Son of a Seventh Son Tour. By all accounts, the secret show on May 8, 1988, was a legendary and "awesome" fans and critics remember it as an exceptionally high-energy event.
