Learning Log
A study log built on the one technique that reliably works: test yourself, then let the gap before the next test grow.
After any self-test - flashcards, a blank page, saying it aloud to the wall - you write one row: date, subject, what you tested, and whether it went Solid, Shaky or Not yet. The sheet books the next look on a ladder you can see and change. Due Now lists what to test today; log the outcome and it moves on.
WHAT'S INSIDE
Dashboard - what is due, what you have logged, and the last eight weeks
Start Here - how the file works and which cells are yours
Ladder - the expanding schedule, five rungs, yours to edit
Log - one row per self-test, where you write
Due Now - what to test today
THE PART NOBODY ELSE BUILDS
The ladder is visible and editable, which almost no spaced-repetition tool allows. Five rungs, in plain numbers, and if a gap is wrong for you then you change the number rather than fighting a scheduler that will not explain itself. You can also override any single item by typing your own date. And if you disappear for a month, Due Now comes back as a reading list rather than a debt: whatever tests Not yet simply starts the ladder again, and nothing in the file records that you were gone.
