For anyone who has ever survived toxic abuse, you know how exhausting it is to live on someone elseโs terms. It feels like being a marionette on a stage you never asked to be on; constantly performing, walking on eggshells to keep the peace, and dancing on strings held by a manipulator.
I wrote and created this music as my own therapy. It was the way I processed the trauma, found my footing again, and fought my way out of the darkness. Because these songs came directly from my own healing, I knew they couldn't just live on the public internet where anyone could comment or judge. They needed a protected home. More than that, I wanted to use what I went through (and the music that saved me) to help others who have been through it or are actively going through it right now.
The Marionette Underground is a dual sanctuary. It is a warm, private space where you can see how these songs of survival were built, and it is a compassionate haven for fellow survivors. When you join, you aren't just supporting independent music; you are stepping into a protective circle of people who truly understand your journey, respect your boundaries, and will help you protect your peace. You are not alone anymore.
