Дорогой мой о Господе отче Германе!
Christ save you for the marvelous icons of the Saint Elder Herman that you sent and for the beautiful pamphlet about our congress, so far received only one!
Спаси тебя Христос за присланные тобою дивные иконочки преподобного старца Германа и за полученную, пока только одну, прекрасную брошюрку о нашем съезде!
On the day of the glorification of St. Herman On July 27 of the old style, they commemorated you at the Divine service as a birthday man and sang the monastic “Save, Christ God!”
В день прославления преп. Германа 27 июля ст. ст. поминали тебя за Богослужением как именинника и пели монашеское «Спаси, Христе Боже!»
I received a new agenda for the upcoming Council, and there I did not find a question about the dogma of the Redemption - apparently, this has been removed.
Получил новую повестку предстоящего Собора, и там не нашел вопроса о догмате Искупления – повидимому, это снято.
I am preparing an article about Vladyka Theophan in a separate pamphlet with the addition of his sermons that I have preserved.
Готовлю статью о владыке Феофане отдельной брошюрой с присоединением к ней сохранившихся у меня его проповедей.
I suffer greatly from the constant stuffy and humid weather, which has never happened before in the monastery, and I ask for your holy prayers and all your brethren.
Очень страдаю от постоянной душно-влажной погоды, какой никогда не бывало прежде в монастыре, и прошу святых молитв твоих и всей братии.
