Take Your Marks
Take Your Marks - Tabletop Athletics
Roll 2d6. Read the mark. Rank the field.
A fast tabletop athletics game across the ten classic track-and-field events. No decathlon scoring, no points conversion, no maths at the table. Run a decathlon or your own Golden League.
Every athlete is two things: a Grade (1-10) and a Lean (the event family they specialise in). Roll 2d6, read the finished time or distance straight off the chart, then roll a d10 and write it on the end as the final digit. A cell of 10.3 with a d10 of 7 is 10.37. You append it, you never add it. That d10 is also the photo finish.
One event takes two minutes. A ten-event meet with a medal table takes an evening. A full season is a campaign.
11 print-ready documents. 54 pages. Plus an offline browser app.

The athletes and nations are invented, so it never goes out of season and never plays the same way twice. Prefer real athletes? The rulebook includes the method for rating anyone from their personal best.
Two dice, a printer and a pencil. That is it.
