The Unwelcome Guest

THE UNWELCOME GUEST

An Original Christmas Play by Sheila Malone

What if Jesus showed up at your Christmas celebration? Would anyone notice He was there?

The Unwelcome Guest is a heartwarming, thought-provoking Christian Christmas play that reminds us of the true reason we celebrate Christmas.

As one family prepares for the perfect Christmas party, everyone becomes distracted by decorations, food, presents and holiday festivities. Everyone, that is, except a little girl named Lily.

When Jesus arrives at their Christmas celebration, Lily is the only one who truly welcomes Him. While the adults and other children are busy enjoying their party, Lily remembers whose birthday they are supposed to be celebrating.

Her simple act of love leads to a powerful moment that challenges everyone to reconsider what Christmas is really about.

With humor, touching moments and a meaningful message, this play is ideal for church Christmas programs and family Christmas celebrations.
