Longing — Jaya Khoobsurat

Longing was born from a time of deep loneliness and despair, when I reached towards the creative force and asked for help to express my longing to be free from suffering.

What emerged were these gentle notes and words — almost like a response from the Divine, offering comfort and solace to a lonely heart. Originally released on Coloured Wings (1998), Longing is a deeply personal expression of vulnerability, hope and the quiet possibility that even in our darkest moments, something beautiful can find its way through.
