For Sale. Qing/Ming Pair of Porcelain Window Shutters.

NO111 Ming / Qing Dynasty Window Shutter Frames.

Description -

One Pair of Window Shutter frames: Wall hanging decoration. Very rare original piece unsure if Qing or Ming dynasty. Porcelain centre, golden surround with carving written on the side of them.

One piece very good condition (considering the age), while the other has slight damage, see photo. The Porcelain detailing is exceptional and unmarked on both pieces.

Frame one appears to be a fisher man sat on a rock attending to his foot. The second piece, a much older man who looks very tired, slumped over his work station.

Remarkable pieces. Very rare.
