Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow
What happened yesterday? What will happen tomorrow?
These are foundational questions of history. Many schools
teach history by having children memorize dates and long-ago wars
from a textbook. But history can also be a living, personal story. Before
a child can understand the Roman Empire or the Industrial Revolution,
it helps for them to first understand the passage of time in their own
lives. We are going to make the timeline of human events physical and
personal.
