**This is the e-book (reflowable epub) version of Searching for Persephone.  It works on most e-readers, but please note there are some minor formatting issues with Kindle readers.  We are working hard to fix this.**

Self-doubting twenty-four-year-old Violet is shaken to the core by the sudden loss of her best friend, Persephone. Hoping to draw her out of a deep depression, her mother sends her to Crete, the Greek island she herself fled as a teenager. As Violet slowly heals, she strikes up an unexpected romance and begins to make plans for the future. But when the pandemic hits, her world is once again dismantled.

Searching for Persephone is a story of self-discovery and redemption in the midst of loss and defeat. Drawing on Greek myths, fairy folklore and quantum physics, the book explores themes of healing, cultural and personal identity, and the nature of perception and reality.

Searching for Persephone review

Searching for Persephone is a beautiful book filled with soulful narratives, landscapes, history, poetry, music, delicious food, and fascinating beekeeping facts! As soon as you start reading it, you really want to know what happens next. So get ready to be sucked in!

If you are the kind of reader in need of an escape to a warm vacation spot in the middle of a work week, Greece is the perfect magical place to be transported to through this book. Until...we are ripped away from its idyll to the sobering reality of the...read to find out!

In the novel's several plot veins the author explores multiple characters, each carrying a distinct essence, no two alike, their personal narrative always opening a window into the greater psychological, philosophical, or spiritual realm. I liked that very much as I love philosophizing on these topics myself.

Some characters leave a trail of questions behind them, testing our curiosity. Might we ever find out?

In the end, it is a love and success story, bound to inspire those looking for their path and not seeming to find it in this crazy uncertain world. It gives one hope that, if we just let things unfold, no matter how painful or difficult, something greater may be revealed to us, a truer connection to ourselves, perhaps, being the most important.

Secret bonus: there is an original piece of music inside. How cool is that? A must-read for every classical guitarist. Read the book to find it!
Secret bonus 2: you get to learn some Greek!

PS Looks great in Apple Reader
