Sold By My Parents Pt. 1: How It All Began

All my life, my parents have been the crappiest parents around. But I never realized that fact until I started school. That's when I saw how other kids' parents acted and treated them compared to mine. Then I started to realize it. 

But it wasn’t until college that I found out how horrible they were. Not just as parents, but as people in general. They’d always told me growing up that I needed to look out for myself first, because nobody else would. I never realized how true that was, especially when it came to them. The last thing I ever expected was to be used as a bargaining chip to cover their debts.
