These photographs were taken over the course of multiple visits to the US and Canada from 1982 to 1990.

They represent a personal photographic journey to places such as New York, Cape Cod, Florida, Montréal, Vancouver, Washington State, LA, New Orleans, Nevada, Hawaii and more. But the pictures also raise questions about what we remember from such visits – whether it's the grand vistas and monumental structures or the small, fleeting details.

All the photographs were shot on 35mm film.
