Most relocation guides tell you where other families live. This brief shows which Barcelona area fits your family — and explains why.
I compare up to three locations against your real budget, work commute, school needs, languages, housing preferences and everyday priorities. You receive a clear recommendation, the evidence behind it, the trade-offs involved and the questions to ask before committing to a school or a home.
No commissions. No generic rankings. No estate-agency agenda.
You will not receive a generic list of fashionable neighbourhoods. You will receive a 16-page decision brief built around your family's own priorities and limits.
The brief compares up to three Barcelona-area locations and examines relevant schools, housing costs, commutes, transport, daily life and the likely monthly budget.
Every score, trade-off and source is shown. You can see which area performs best on paper, which one passes your non-negotiable limits and what still needs to be verified before making a commitment.
Tell me briefly about your planned move so I can confirm that the Barcelona Family Fit Brief is suitable for your family.
Please include your current country, approximate moving date, number and ages of children, likely work locations, monthly housing budget and the main decision you need help with.
I review every request personally and reply by email within one business day. You will not be charged unless your request is approved and you choose to continue. Please do not include passports, identity documents or other sensitive information.
What exactly will I receive?
A personalised 16-page PDF comparing up to three Barcelona-area locations against your family's priorities and non-negotiable limits. It includes a school shortlist, housing and monthly-budget analysis, commute and daily-life considerations, current rental evidence where available, scoring methodology, sources and recommended next steps.
How does the process work?
You submit a short application first. If the service fits your situation, I approve the request and you decide whether to purchase. After payment, you receive a detailed Family Profile questionnaire. Your brief is delivered by email within seven business days after all essential information has been received.
Do I need to book a call?
No. The complete process can be handled in writing by email. If something in your questionnaire is unclear, I will contact you before beginning the research.
Is this an estate agency or school-placement service?
No. This is an independent decision-support service. I do not find or reserve homes, guarantee school places, negotiate contracts or provide legal, tax or immigration advice. I receive no commission from any school, estate agency or landlord mentioned in the brief.
How current is the information?
Every brief is dated and distinguishes confirmed information, published data, estimates and matters still requiring verification. Rental prices, school places, fees and transport fares can change, so the report should be refreshed if you act on it more than approximately three months after delivery.
Is on-the-ground verification included?
No. Journey times are researched and clearly labelled as estimates. On-the-ground journey verification can be added separately when a measured commute may change the recommendation, subject to location and availability.
What if I change my requirements after the research begins?
Factual corrections and clarification questions are welcome. A new budget, different work location, additional areas or a change of school strategy may require the comparison to be recalculated and will be treated as a new or extended scope.
