Many think that conceiving is easy, but the truth of the matter is, it’s just not that simple for so many women. According to the National Survey of Family Growth , CDC 1995, approximately 6.1 million women and their partners in the U.S. are affected by infertility. Whoa! What a massive, yet heartbreaking statistic! The roller coaster ride of mixed emotions that one experiences while trying to conceive can range from exhilarating to pure exhaustion. We paint on fake smiles like make-up, which mask the suffering that we have faced while trying to conceive. The deep feelings of inadequacies and jealousy begin to creep in while trying to be supportive for others that are celebrating the coming of their new precious miracle. The frustration that we have faced at night in the arms of our loved ones, after another month, which quickly progresses into years, have passed with no signs of pregnancy in sight. Soon falling into the slippery slope of depression after encountering another miscarriage, for the seventh time. The internal contractured scars, have begun to settle in, from the bitterness, that you’ve been carrying 24-7, with no relief in sight. Because of no hope and the reign of infertility, you want to give up, but the dream of having a baby won’t let you stop trying. This journal is not like any other. It's best described as a book within a journal. It's comprised of several sections: nourishment for eggs, fertility window, emotional check-ins, inspirational stories, intimate moments, dreams, declarations, and prayers. It's also full of the living word of God. Allow it to come alive within you and transform your life!
