Walter Watchman always thought his grandfather’s stories were just stories—wild tales about alien encounters, secret missions, hidden technology, and an organization called Immaculate Constellation. Then, while helping clean out his grandfather’s old RV, Walter finds a strange alien wristwatch hidden beneath the passenger seat cushion.

The device is the Genetic Transformation Engine, or GTE—a lost relic from one of Grandpa Watchman’s early adventures. When it bonds to Walter on a genetic level, his ordinary life is violently pulled into the impossible. The activation signal draws the attention of Dr. Mutant, a twisted mad scientist determined to claim the GTE for himself.

With a mutant tracker closing in, Walter and his grandfather must survive using nothing but an unstable alien transformation, a failing emergency cloak, and one very battered RV.

Team Watchman Issue Zero is a fast-paced superhero origin story about legacy, courage, family, and the moment a young man realizes the impossible stories he grew up hearing were true all along. This is the beginning of Walter Watchman’s journey—and the first spark of a much larger adventure.
