Valas Scope Change Note Builder gives independent consultants and small agencies a repeatable way to document that difference. Reference the original engagement, describe what is changing, separate included work from exclusions, show the commercial and schedule impact, and state what must happen before the changed work begins.

Everything runs in one downloaded HTML file. There is no account, login, subscription, API key, project-platform connection, or seller-side setup.

Private and portable

The app runs locally in a current desktop browser. Working data is saved in that browser profile on that device. Export a structured JSON backup whenever you want a portable copy, and import it later to continue.

There are no remote scripts, external fonts, analytics, accounts, or network calls in the product. The seller does not receive the information you enter.

Local storage is not an encrypted contract-management platform or managed backup. Protect exported files and enter only the information needed for the business record. Do not enter passwords, access tokens, payment-card data, government identifiers, authentication secrets, or unnecessary personal information.

It does not retrieve or interpret an agreement, decide whether work is included or billable, calculate taxes, set a price, issue an invoice or credit, send a notice, authorize work, monitor deadlines, or provide seller review.

The fee calculator performs arithmetic using the adjustment types and numbers you enter. The completeness count only shows which drafting topics you marked addressed. Neither feature determines contractual validity, approval, enforceability, accounting treatment, or legal rights.

It does not guarantee approval, payment, delivery, contract formation, client retention, ranking, traffic, leads, revenue, or any other result. The user remains responsible for facts, governing documents, pricing, taxes, professional review, approval, security, and final communications.

Compatibility

Use a current desktop version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari with JavaScript, local storage, file downloads, and browser printing enabled. Mobile and embedded browsers are not the supported working environment. Browser extensions, enterprise restrictions, and local-file security settings can affect behavior.

Support and refund boundary

Support covers download access, basic opening instructions, documented feature clarification, and reproducible product defects. It does not include agreement review, scope decisions, pricing, taxes, accounting, client communications, project management, legal review, negotiation, or customized notes.

Because this is an immediately accessible digital download, change-of-mind refunds are not offered except where required by law. Contact the support address shown on the Payhip receipt within 14 days for a duplicate purchase, a material listing mismatch, or a reproducible core defect. Include the order email, browser/version, operating system, steps, and the error text or a screenshot containing no confidential client information. If a verified core defect cannot be resolved or worked around within three business days, the seller will provide a corrected file or refund the purchase price.

FAQ

Does this replace my agreement or change-control clause?

No. Use it with the actual governing documents. The app cannot determine whether the note forms an amendment, whether a request is in scope, or what approval method is legally effective.

How do fee adjustments work?

Enter a description, adjustment type, quantity, and non-negative unit amount. Additions increase the applicable total; credits and reductions decrease it; a no-fee line records zero. Confirm currency, taxes, invoicing, credits, and accounting treatment separately.

Can I share the PDF with a client?

Yes. Review it against the governing documents first and leave “Include internal notes” off unless you deliberately want that clearly labeled section printed. Completed outputs may be shared for your own business engagements under the license.

Can I use it for multiple clients and changes?

Yes. Export each JSON backup, clear the workspace, and start a new note. The one-business license permits unlimited use for the purchasing business's own engagements.

Where is my information stored?

In the browser profile on the device you use, unless you export JSON or print a PDF. The product has no seller database or account. Export backups because clearing browser data can remove the local copy.

Does the seller review my agreement or customize the note?

No. Every buyer receives the same automatic download. No manual fulfillment, client review, legal analysis, or custom writing is included.
