Thanksgiving Art Project Horn of Plenty Art Lesson Thanksgiving Art Activity
This Thanksgiving Horn of Plenty Art Lesson for Grades 2 to 5 brings together art, literacy, reflection and social-emotional learning around gratitude and the harvest season. Students draw and paint their own Horn of Plenty (cornucopia) with oil pastels and watercolor or tempera paint.
Along the way, students read, write and reflect on Thanksgiving traditions, gratitude and kindness in both words and actions. It is easy to prep and gives students hands-on, focused work during the busy mid-November weeks.
