The Maelona Shawl contrasts geometric lace patterns with a floral edging and plays with transitioning from a small-scale lace pattern to a larger-scale pattern at the border. Maelona uses hand-dyed yarn from my own range, Aglow Singles - a gorgeous blend of merino, silk and yak. This shawl is easy to customise, so have fun with it! A description of how to make larger or lacier versions of the shawl is included in the pattern notes.

Tension
20 sts and 32 rows to 10cm (4”) over stripes of stocking stitch and chart 2 after blocking
18 sts and 32 rows to 10cm (4”) over chart 3 after blocking
