Winter Art Project Activity Polar Bear Art Writing Prompts Reading Comprehension
This Winter Polar Bear Art Project combines an art lesson with reading comprehension and a writing prompt. Students create a winter artwork of a polar bear while exploring oil pastel techniques, then read about polar bears and write in response.
It is made for classrooms and homeschool families who want an art lesson with literacy already built in. The lesson plan, lesson hook, example artwork and step-by-step slides are in the document and in a PowerPoint presentation, so the art lesson is easy to teach or leave with a sub.
