As I continually pursue my own life assignment and build my legacy, I realize more and more how dangerous that is to the world around us. It often provides a false sense of hope and entitlement that causes people to walk away from thier dreams long before its expiration time.
 
Someone has to be willing to share their story while their story is being written and allow the world see what the path to living your dreams REALLY looks life.

What do I do when it feels like my dreams have dried up?

2014 was one of the most POWERFUL years I had ever experienced. I sat in the corporate headquarters of the Oprah Winfrey Network, did my first multi-city tour, appeared on national TV, covered Oprah's The Life You Want Tour, found myself being mentored in the presence of some the entertainment industry's most successful business professionals and ended the year heading to Atlanta, Georgia to launch my company's second business location. My company was on the rise, but as I transitioned into 2015 my life was crumbling behind the scenes.
 
Behind all of the empowerment and pouring into others I was battling Thyroid Disease, Epilepsy and other undiagnosed symptoms. Although I kept going, in 2015 I would face homelessness, lose EVERYTHING I owned, battle with continual health problems, hit spiritual bankruptcy and experience a total halt of what felt like the "life of my dreams." I had to cancel bookings, close divisions of the business, and press pause on the vision God had given me to press #RESET and start the recovery process for my life.
 
How do you move forward when you feel like you've lost it all?
In the midst of my transition, God asked me, "Can your dreams live again?" Some days I wasn't convinced it was possible, but even in the lowest places of the journey God was orchestrating my situation for good. One of the lowest years of my life still warranted me to plant my second market in Atlanta, launch Movers and Shakers International Network for High-Performing Professionals, re-build a beautiful place to call home in the heart of Atlanta for my family and end the year with record-breaking profits. 

It's not easy starting over after trials and tragedy, but I'm here to tell you that you CAN recover.
