The eBook collection is mainly centered around using emulsifiers. Several are mentioned throughout the eBooks, but for the most part I use Emulsifying Wax (NF) from Mountain Rose Herbs, Olivem 1000 (organic/natural product approved), or Ritamulse SCG (organic/natural product approved). There's an additional 10-page guide that centers around using beeswax instead of an emulsifier. You can use the formula in that guide, along with the other information about herbs, essential oils, etc in this eBook collection to create beeswax-based creams. However, emulsifiers are the main focus.

If you're printing from a phone, try using a desktop or laptop instead, or ask a local print shop (like Staples) or library instead. Virtually all printing errors that I've helped troubleshoot have been related to trying to print from a mobile phone, with iPhone being the most common incompatibility. If you try a different device and still run into print problems, please let me know at hello@thenerdyfarmwife.com and I'll be happy to help. While I've tested the files with Windows, Apple, and Linux devices from my home, it's impossible to test and troubleshoot all of the many browser/phone carrier/printer combinations that a customer may have, so we will give a refund if no solution is found.
For Kindle:
You will need to email the PDF file to your Kindle device. Each Kindle has a unique email address associated with it. To know what yours is, go to Amazon.com –> Manage Your Content & Devices. Next, click the “Your Devices” tab and you’ll see all of the devices associated with your account. Each one will have a unique email. Send an email to your @kindle.com address with the PDF file as an attachment. It should soon after be available in your Kindle library.
For iPad:
PDF files can be opened and read with the free apps iBooks or Adobe Reader. (Or use the BookFunnel app, following the links in the followup email.) Please note that a small subset of iPhone and browser/phone carrier/printer combinations may cause conflict with certain pdf files. If this happens, try using a different type of device first, and if that doesn't eliminate the problem, please let us know for further troubleshooting!
This is the standard procedure for the shopping cart system I use (PayHip), for when a customer buys a bundle containing multiple files at once. You create an account in order to access all of the eBook and files in one convenient place. The eBooks and bonus files will also be delivered to you via followup email. When buying single eBooks one at a time, you do not need to make an account.
Jan Berry has been creating handmade soap, salves, and more since 2003, when she started making natural body care products for her toddler who struggled with eczema, multiple allergies, and extra-sensitive skin. As an herbalist and avid forager, Jan especially loves incorporating herbs, flowers, and other plants into her skincare creations. In 2012, she founded The Nerdy Farm Wife website, where she shares natural skin care and soap recipes, herbal remedies, and more. She's also the published author of several books, including Simple & Natural Soapmaking, and The Big Book of Homemade Products. Jan lives, roams, and rambles over a 100+ acre farm with her family, 3 rescue dogs, 4 cats, 13 goats, 2 pigs, ducks, chickens, turkeys, and a whole lotta deer and bunnies who enjoy eating her green beans and peas.
