Chatto Sweater
Inspired by rows of flower bulbs growing in a field, the Chatto Sweater has wonderful texture. As the bulbs begin to grow, the leaves spread out over planted ridges and a central flower head emerges. The ridges are knitted with long lines of single eyelets and flower heads are formed using a double eyelet and twisted stitch combination. By offsetting the pattern, a lattice of leaves is formed across the sweater front and back. The lattice pattern is worked on a reverse stocking stitch background. The set-in sleeves have a single flower motif at the cuff.
The ‘Chatto’ knitting pattern is a stylish pullover design suitable for intermediate knitters. This pattern features a crew neck, set-in sleeves, and intricate cable and twisted stitch details. The pattern comes in sizes ranging from UK 8 to 26. Whether you prefer following charts or written instructions, this pattern offers both options for your convenience. Worked flat and seamed, this bottom-up design showcases textured stitches and eyelets for added visual interest.
