Small Business Inventory & Order Tracker - Excel Template
Know exactly what's in stock and what you actually earn after fees. One Excel file for small shops selling on Etsy, Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Instagram, at markets or wholesale, with no app or monthly subscription.
Small Business Inventory & Order Tracker is a clean, fully automatic workbook:
- Products: SKU, name, category, unit cost, sale price, opening stock and reorder level. On hand, stock value, margin per unit, margin %, units sold, revenue and profit are calculated for every product. Rows turn yellow at your reorder level and red when you're out of stock.
- Stock In: log restocks and supplier purchases (date, supplier, SKU, quantity, unit cost). Stock levels update automatically.
- Orders: one row per order line with channel, customer, SKU and quantity. Leave the price blank to use your list price, or type a custom price. Channel fees, cost of goods and profit per order are worked out for you. Cancelled and refunded orders are greyed out and left out of your totals.
- Settings: your own sales channels with fee % and fixed fee per order (sample Etsy, Shopify, Amazon, eBay rates included as a starting point), plus product and expense categories that feed every dropdown.
- Expenses: packaging, ads, software, booth fees and anything else, so you see real net profit.
- Dashboard: sales, number of orders, units, fees, shipping, cost of goods, gross and net profit, profit margin, average order value, inventory value and how many products need reordering. A 12-month table, sales by channel, and two charts.
Room for 200 products, 300 restocks, 500 order lines and 200 expenses.
Works with any currency. Works in Excel 2016+ (Windows and Mac), Excel mobile, WPS and LibreOffice. Google Sheets works too; charts may look slightly different.
