Moulin Rouge Paris France is famous for the dance Can-Can by the seductive French courtesans who operated from the site. The original house that was burnt down in 1915, was co-founded in 1889 by Charles Zidler and Joseph Oller, that they also owned the Paris Olympia and is in the district of Pigalle on the Boulevard de Clichy in the 18th arrondissement in Paris France. The famous red windmill on the roof and the lady on the ladder.
My grandfather took this photo in the 1940’s on a trip from England to Paris France.
