WKSJ-02 ARGINT converts the chromatic structure of an image into a dense and selective monochrome field. Colors that may appear close in brightness before conversion can occupy clearly different positions afterward, producing separation through gray value rather than through hue.

Its strongest darkening occurs in red-dominant areas. Blue also gains weight, though without collapsing into the same response, while green, yellow, and cyan remain comparatively open. This imbalance is intentional. It allows skin, vegetation, concrete, stone, metal, sky, and mixed surfaces to retain distinct tonal roles after color has disappeared.

The curve holds deep shadows with gradual internal progression, places substantial weight in the lower midtones, and opens the central range before reaching restrained highlights. ARGINT therefore creates a pronounced mineral density without turning the entire image uniformly dark or sacrificing tonal articulation.

Available for $5, with optional pay-what-you-want support above the minimum price.

Compatibility

ARGINT is delivered in 3D .cube format and is intended for photo, video, and color-grading applications that support .cube LUTs.

Use the 33-point version for broader compatibility and lighter workflows.

Use the 65-point version when your software supports higher-resolution 3D LUT grids.

Compatibility note: If you are uncertain about .cube support, test the free WKSJ-00 OSNOVA in the same 33-point or 65-point grid size before purchasing ARGINT.

ARGINT controls color response and global tonal mapping. It does not add grain, halation, dust, scratches, blur, optical softness, or local image effects.
