Iris Cardigan crochet pattern
⚠️ WARNING: This is not a traditional pattern. There is no gauge. There is no yarn weight requirement. Bring your scraps and your sense of adventure.
This one is for all that granny square lovers who don't love weaving in all those yarn ends. The Iris Cardigan allows you to retain the granny square aesthetic for a fraction of the work. Are you ready for the easiest granny cardigan with minimal sewing? The Iris Cardigan is basically two granny hexagons, folded and sewn together along the shoulders and down the middle of the back.
The sizing is universal: you make as many rounds in your granny hexagons as you need. We all have different bodies, so maybe your shoulders and back are wide, and that is what your granny hexagon should cover.
What you need:
This pullover is designed to help you use up your yarn scraps.
Who is the crochet pattern for:
This crochet pattern is suitable even for advanced beginners who want to graduate past beanies and scarves, to tackle their first crochet garment. The granny hexagon is an easy step-up, and a cardigan a forgiving project to flaunt your new powress with.
What this crochet pattern contains:
We all have different bodies and personalities, and if you are going to sit down and make your own clothes, then it better be exactly what you want, and not what the pattern says you should do. Think of this as a blueprint, not a pattern.
The pdf is 28 pages because it is formatted to be legible on your mobile phones without zooming in and panning. It is also available in an ebook (.epub) format.
