Golden Years Adventures - Brisbane

Golden Years Adventures — Brisbane

A different kind of dog-friendly guide, told through the adventures of one golden retriever in his golden years. 🐾

Golden Years Adventures is a 76-page photo-led inspiration guide featuring some of Horlicks’s favourite dog-friendly places around Brisbane — from peaceful woodland trails and waterfront strolls to beaches, wildlife encounters, golden sunrises and sunsets.

Every photograph was captured during Horlicks’s own adventures between 11½ and 12½ years young.

As Horlicks began to slow down, our adventures changed. The walks became shorter, we took more breaks and travelled at his pace — but we also became more spontaneous, took far more photos, and learned to appreciate every little adventure together.

This book grew from those memories.

Rather than a traditional, word-heavy travel guide, Golden Years Adventures is designed to be visual, simple and inspirational. Flick through the photographs, discover somewhere that makes you think “I’d love to go there”, check the current local information — and go make your own memories.

With a special focus on places that can also be enjoyed with senior dogs, we hope it inspires you to keep exploring with your furry best friend, whatever stage of life they’re in.

The Brisbane Edition is completely FREE. ❤️

Download your copy, take too many photos, and enjoy the adventure together.

Because the walks may get shorter, but the memories only get bigger. 🐾
