The new HSK syllabus (published Nov 2025, used from July 2026) has a single handwriting list of 100 characters for HSK 1 and HSK 2 (HSK(一级)~(二级)书写字). This workbook covers all 100, in the official order, one practice block each.

EACH CHARACTER GETS

• a large model character, pinyin, a short English meaning and the stroke count

• up to 3 example words from the new HSK 1–2 vocabulary list

• stroke order, one stroke at a time: the new stroke is red, a dot marks where it starts, and each square is numbered

• 4 grey characters to trace, then empty 田字格 squares, then a full row to write from memory

ALSO INCLUDED

• Quick guide to the 7 basic stroke-order rules

• 100-character checklist

• 4 review tests (pinyin + meaning → write the character) with an answer key

• Blank 田字格 and 米字格 practice paper

• A4 and US Letter (43 pages each). Prints well in black and white

PLEASE NOTE

• Digital product (PDF). Nothing will be shipped. Print at 100% / actual size.

• Shapes follow a standard regular-script (kaishu) model, so your textbook font may look slightly different.

• Stroke-order and glyph data come from the open-source Make Me a Hanzi project (Arphic Public License; licence file and credit included). I made the layout, selection and text with help from AI tools, then checked them. The pinyin and meanings were checked against a dictionary and the official HSK lists.
