Inspired by the beloved 2001 movie, this tale is familiar to many with the sweeping music of The Nutcracker ballet. Through the land of sweets, among the dancing flowers and snowflakes, Clara journeys with her valiant Nutcracker by her side after defeating the wretched Mouse King. This specific rendition of The Nutcracker is nostalgic for many and brings the sense of warmth and love to the Winter season.

A note from the creator:
I chose to make this inspired by the 2001 classic by a very popular toy brand (I won't name names, but the signature color should give it away) because growing up this was one of my favorite movies to watch during the holidays. I had it on VHS and remember sitting in my living room enjoying the music and the animation of the ballet performances. I wanted to capture that feeling of sitting on my living room floor, looking up at the big box TV and watching the gorgeous dances and watching Clara and Nutcracker fall in love. The nostalgia of eagerly awaiting the VHS to finish rewinding so I could watch it again and again. This project was made even more personal to me because my mother chose every outfit that is on this avatar. We both hope you enjoy her and get to think back to those days of wondering why it felt like an eternity for the VCR to finish re-winding the movie so you could cuddle up once more and watch the splendor that is the Nutcracker.
