Geared for local Charleston families wanting to be more proactive or stuck on long waitlists, Play Plans provide select purposeful play strategies for where your child is + where they are headed next on their gross motor journey. 

What is included in a Play Plan?

• 1:1 collaboration with expert in early gross motor development
• Professionally guided Q & A with freedom to dive into gross motor concerns or topics important to your family
• Clarification on which mini-milestones to celebrate, which to prep, and which to support
• Custom play strategies designed for exactly where your little one is + headed next
• Review of any relevant recommendations or resources

How does appointment scheduling work?

After submitting the above form, Hope will reach out to you directly to discuss mutual availability and provide consent forms. After a time and date are agreed upon, you can reserve your appointment by submitting payment. By reserving a Play Plan, you agree to all terms and conditions in the consent forms.

Is this a traditional physical therapy session?

No, Play Plans are designed to be an education based service for families. They are structured to equip your family with clarifying insights and strategies to leverage playtime and day to day moments to support development. Play Plans are not designed to diagnose or treat medical conditions.

Play Plans are not a replacement for your healthcare team’s recommendations or formal therapy services when needed. Please note that because Play Plans are not physical therapy, they are not eligible for health insurance reimbursement.

Can my child participate in a Play Plan more than once?

For sure! Because each stage of development can present new challenges and unique oppertunities, families may chose to have an original Play Plan fully updated. Hope is happy to support your family as your child's development evolves in the little years.
