This is a seamless sweater knitted in the round from top down. The Brioche pattern is quite an easy one- because the element is repetitive, simple, and unfolds in a natural way.
If you want to practice your Brioche skills before approaching this pattern- I have made a cowl free tutorial which takes you step by step through the brioche increases and decreases: Brioche Index tutorial.
The sweater is meant to be close fitting in the bust, and mildly widens below the bust. The sleeves are meant to be wide to the cuff- where a colorful two color garter and brioche combo is worked.

special techniques:
Brioche short rows- there is a video tutorial link in pattern.
Short rows- W&T, explained in pattern.
There is also a video tutorial- how to pick up under arm stitches in brioche technique.

Yarn:
all yarns are fingering weight yarn- 355 m /100g.
Dark color (DC) yarn is worked as the background of the brioche pattern, and afterwards as body color.
4 light colors (LC) yarns- should be in contrast to DC. I have worked with 4 different colors, and the pattern is written accordingly. However, you can use as many colors as you like.
I recommend the DC to be used as the darker color for the pattern to come out the best. If you would like your body color to be light, change the color after the Garter- Brioche combo.
For estimated amount of yarn see size and quantities chart on page 6.
