Birthed in Edinburgh, Scotland and inspired by Celtics and friendly chats in the pub, this cardigan synthesizes the familiar with the impulsive: tried and true cables and traditional stitches go off in unexpected directions and are creatively constructed to bring you a uniquely beautiful garment.

Finished bust measurements: 85 (91.5, 98.5)105, 116.5, 128.5 cm/34 (36.75, 39.25)42, 46.75, 51.25 inches.
The cardigan is intended to be worn with little or no positive ease.

Madelinetosh Yarn, Tosh Merino Light (100% superwash merino wool; 384m/420y per 115g); colorway: Moorland; 3 (3, 4)4, 5, 6 skeins.

Needles
Size 3.5 mm/US #4 or size needed for gauge; 80 cm/32” circular and dpns.
Size 3.5 mm/US #4; 30 cm/12” circular (or spare dpn).
Size 3.25 mm/US #3 or 1 size smaller than gauge needles; 80 cm/32”.
Size 3.0 mm/US #2 or 2 sizes smaller than gauge needles; 80 cm/32” circular and dpns.

Other
interlocking stitch markers, 3 buttons (1.5 cm / .75” in diameter), tapestry needle for weaving, stitch holders/scrap yarn.

Gauge
24 sts and 34 rows over 10 cm/4” in St st worked flat with largest needles, after wet blocking.
Horizontal Cable Panel: 1 rep (26 sts and 16 rows) = 11 cm/4.25” x 6 cm/2.5” washed and blocked
