Mariner shines in whichever fabric collection you choose! To make the Storm at Sea block, you’ll piece Square in Square blocks and paper piece a rectangular block. If you’re new to paper piecing, don’t worry—the rectangular block is very easy to paper piece, even for a beginner! In addition, I provide help online for paper piecing so there’s no need to shy away from making this beautiful quilt.

The quilt shown on the cover features the Bits & Pieces collection by Island Batik. On the back cover, the quilt is shown in an older Island Batik collection called Mariner. As you can see, the pattern is easily adaptable to any fabric collection!

To save time, you can cut out this quilt using the AccuQuilt Storm at Sea die. Click here to purchase one for your AccuQuilt cutter.
