A Seed in the Sands – English Edition

A Seed in the Sands is a journey through memory, fate, love, betrayal, survival, and hope.

Ahmad is a humble young laborer from Basra who leaves behind his aging mother and sets out for Baghdad in search of a better life. What begins as a simple journey soon carries him into an extraordinary world of royal courts, hidden identities, dangerous journeys, unexpected love, and turns of fate that reach far beyond Baghdad to the kingdom of China.

At the heart of the book lies a treasured family memory: a story first told by the author's grandfather during the Iran–Iraq War and preserved for decades on an old cassette tape.
