Halo has a zipper closure for security and internally she has a large zippered pocket and a double slip pocket as well as a perfectly fitted lining. Halo Has been designed to sew in quilting weight cotton but can also be sewn in faux leather. cork leather or real leather according to yours and you machines capabilities. This pattern has been designed to sew using domestic machines with layers kept to the bare minimum at all times. The pattern contains 31 full colour pages of instructions, photos and diagrams to guide you through the process, with helpful hints and tips throughout. Full sized pattern pieces to be printed on your domestic home printer and a comprehensive cutting table for those who prefer to cut from measurements. Also included is a comprehensive video tutorial so you have your own sewing teacher in your sewing space with you as you sew. The Halo First Steps pattern is the first in a series of patterns aimed at absolute beginners, the patterns are tested by a team of new bag makers and novices to ensure that they are indeed achievable. Each First Steps pattern will also have a Step Up Supplement to accommodate the more advanced sewer. The Halo Step Up Supplement is designed to work alongside the First Steps pattern to raise the bar for the more experienced or adventurous sewer. The Step Up version of Halo should be sewn in either faux leather or cork (or real leather). The Step Up supplement includes the unique cutwork and weave design on the front of the sample bags, a fabulous triple overlay faux leather/cork leather exterior zipper pocket and alternative strap connectors.
