The warehouses where I live are filled with musicians from all walks of life. Some of us are good friends, family even, others only emerge when the night is right to communicate through riffs and beats before descending back into the shadows.
This was one of those nights, when the stars aligned and the warehouse family were out in full swing, when all the creatures emerged from their caves to bask in the light of musical union. And at the peak of this starry night, a picture was taken.
Guiseppe - who had only recently found the courage to start singing (and shouting, and rolling around on the floor half naked or swinging in the arms of his brothers as they shared microphoones and magic) and who's vibrant chaotic energy was gleaming brightly - was screaming his soul through two microphones and a tambourine that framed his face like a halo.
Miles was beating the drums in the back, Sparky was just picking up the bass and 2nd Guiseppe was hammering the lead guitar just our of shot as a random Dr Martin booted leg kicked it's way into frame.
Oh - and that's me in the black vest top grooving on a 2nd tambourine - lost in the rhythm of the moment - flowing my way through the night.
This was peak warehouse animals - a fibonacci spiral of divine chaos.
How could I not re-capture it my own expressive way?
