Where could these moonlit doors lead?

The Moonlit Fairy Door is an enchanting interactive paper-craft printable featuring an ancient tree covered in twisting roots, tiny glowing windows, delicate flowers, curling ferns and luminous mushrooms.

The ornate teal-blue double doors are decorated with golden vines, crescent moons, stars and tiny crystal details. Carefully cut and open the doors to reveal a secret fairy village nestled beneath enormous flowers. A winding path leads past glowing woodland homes and waterfalls toward a distant moonlit castle.

Two coordinating inner door panels ensure that the reverse sides of the opened doors are beautifully decorated with silver vines, flowers, fireflies and crescent moons. A separate foreground layer of ferns, glowing mushrooms, lanterns and a peacefully sleeping red fox adds charming dimensional depth.

Use small adhesive foam pads between the façade, foreground and interior scene to create a shallow 3D effect.

For the best result, print onto good-quality matte cardstock at Actual Size or 100%.

Cut around the top, bottom and centre edges of the two outer doors, leaving their outside edges attached to create the hinges. Glue the coordinating inner panels onto the plain reverse sides of the doors. Position the fairy-village scene behind the opening, then add the fox-and-mushroom foreground with thin foam pads for dimensional depth.
