Coming Home
This painting, Coming Home, reflects the journey from restlessness to finding true peace in God’s love.
The two horses leaning their faces together capture a moment of gentle surrender and connection—a return to safety, trust, and belonging. For me, this image tells the story of coming back to be loved entirely and unconditionally. It speaks of turning from a restless heart, searching for love and fulfilment in all the wrong places, to discovering steadfastness, peace, and acceptance in His presence.
Like the horses, we are invited to draw near, to rest in the warmth and security of His love, and to allow ourselves to be held and cherished without condition. This painting is a reminder that no matter how far we wander, there is always a place to come home to.
A place where we are fully known, fully loved, and fully at peace.
