Resisting Temptation: A Trauma Informed Guide to Awareness and Self Control
I created this course because I have lived the cycle of temptation repeatedly. Not in theory. Not from observation alone. From experience. I know what it is like to believe something just happened, only to realize later that there were many moments where awareness could have changed everything.
For a long time, I believed temptation was about willpower. I believed that if I were stronger or more disciplined, I would not keep repeating the same patterns. What I eventually learned is that temptation follows a structure. Once I understood the structure, I stopped fighting at the wrong point and started responding earlier.
This course exists to give you that same clarity.
As a trauma informed life coach, I lead with lived experience supported by coaching education, psychological insight, and biblical wisdom. I am not teaching from a place of perfection. I am sharing what I learned the hard way so you do not have to.
Inside this course, I walk you through the five stages of temptation step by step. Each stage explains what is happening internally, why it feels the way it does, and where control is actually gained or lost. You will see realistic scenarios that reflect everyday life, not extreme cases. You will receive four practical response strategies at each stage, with the fourth offering an advanced technique for deeper mastery. Each stage also includes a related Bible verse and guidance on how to apply it in real life.
This course is educational and coaching focused. It does not replace traditional therapy, medical care, or mental health treatment. It is designed to support awareness, responsibility, and intentional choice.
You should download this course if you are tired of realizing too late where things went wrong, if you want to break cycles without shame or fear, and if you want a framework you can return to whenever temptation shows up. The earlier you learn to recognize the pattern, the less damage you have to undo later.
This course does not promise perfection. It offers understanding. And understanding is what changes outcomes over time.
