This album is for those who feel the chasm widening and choose to be inside it, becoming River. It is for those who fear the unknown and those who surf its waves. It is for the hope filled and the hopeless. It is an offering to our ancestors and to the ones with wings, fins, scales, roots... a call in service to multispecies liberation: May it serve the future ones. 

To Octopus, for your modeling that softness is a strength, that intelligence is not separate from sensitivity, and that to survive collapse we may need to change color, shape, and story, again and again.
