Socks Unlocked Workshop: Knitting Toe-Up Socks Without a Pattern
$75.00
Whether this is your first foray into sock knitting or a chance to add new skills to your knitting toolbox, you’ll come away from this class knowing how to knit socks for any foot, at any gauge, without referring to a pattern.
In this 6-hour class you’ll work a complete sample-sized sock as you learn the skills from three of my most popular sock classes, including:
Students should know how to cast on, bind off, knit, purl, increase, decrease, and work in the round.
Supplies: Your class fee does not include supplies. You will need at least 100 yards of sock to worsted-weight yarn in a light color, two short (16'-24') circular needles* in the size appropriate to the yarn, a tapestry needle, scissors, measuring tape, stitch markers.
* If you are already very comfortable using magic loop or dpns to work in the round you are welcome to knit that way instead, but the class will primarily focus on using two short circular needles.
Date and Time: Class takes place Saturday January 30, 2021 from 9:00 am-3:00 pm Pacific Time (10 Mountain/11 Central/12 Eastern) via Zoom. We’ll have several breaks scheduled during the class time, including one longer break so you can eat and stretch. That will allow for approximately 5 hours of instruction time.
Login information and class handouts will be available for immediate download.
Please carefully note the day and time of the class before purchasing, as the class is nonrefundable.
