One Heart Israel is a partner of Goshen Magen Israel. All net proceeds benefit Israel outreach through these organizations.

We are excited to offer a two-day trauma training course aimed at highlighting the specific needs of those who are suffering from personal trauma, but also the particular trauma experienced through living in Israel and the October 7th War. We will consider practical solutions for supporting those experiencing such trauma and how God’s heart is to heal trauma. All the sessions are led from a belief in the power of Jesus to heal, restore, and resurrect those who have been affected by serious trauma.

This trauma training is a collaboration between One Heart Israel ministry and Goshen Magen Israel (under Furnishing Families International). One Heart Israel is a ministry based in Jerusalem and led by Alison and Barry Barnett. Their vision is to bring hope and reconciliation between Jew and Arab and they pastor a ‘one new humanity’ congregation in the center of Jerusalem. Alison is a trauma counselor, writer, and trainer. She and her husband Barry have been pioneering a beautiful work of One Heart Israel, bringing a spiritual approach to healing trauma.

Terri Byrd is a Family Services Social Worker and Outreach Chaplain for Furnishing Families International. She is the founder of Goshen Magen Israel and has a heart to provide healing to those directly impacted by October 7th. This exists under international outreach umbrella of Furnishing Families International.

One Heart Israel ministry has a vision for trauma centers in Israel. Goshen Megan Israel’s vision is to provide Goshen homes that are safe places where Israeli families can come to for healing from their trauma. This includes many soldiers who have been so deeply impacted by October 7th. We are exploring places in Israel and the US with the possibility of other countries as we expand. The Goshen ministry desires to heal and refresh the soul through Biblical trauma therapy.

Testimonial:

I recently attended the Trauma Training Class sponsored by Goshen Ministries and One Heart Israel. As someone who has experienced many training events, I can say this class was excellent. It was structured well and delivered clearly. Each segment was followed by personal reflection time and the leaders were authentic and open with their trauma journeys. I recommend this class to anyone who’s curious or already engaged with helping others.
