The Communion Table: From Passover to Power

"Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you."

There is a sacred mystery hidden in the Communion Table—one that stretches from the shadowy lamb sacrifices of Exodus to the glorious Lamb enthroned in Revelation. What began in Egypt with a lamb’s blood smeared on doorposts reaches its fulfillment at Calvary’s cross, where Jesus, the spotless Lamb of God, poured out His blood for the salvation of the world.

This book was born from a deep burden: to restore understanding and reverence to the Table of the Lord. In many churches and lives today, communion has become routine—a religious tradition performed without revelation. Yet, at its core, the Table is not symbolic alone; it is prophetic, covenantal, and powerful.

It is at the Table that:

·       Our covenant is renewed (Luke 22:20)

·       Our hearts are searched (1 Corinthians 11:28)

·       Our healing is released (Isaiah 53:5, Matthew 8:17)

·       Our intimacy with Christ is deepened (Luke 24:30–31)

·       Our victory is enforced (Revelation 12:11)
