This resource was developed to align with the Alberta Grade 7 draft curriculum and its specified learning outcomes.

The instructional sequence follows the curriculum's organization while grouping learning outcomes into manageable phases intended to be taught before a summative assessment.

Please note: This resource is currently aligned with the draft Alberta Grade 7 curriculum. As Alberta moves toward full implementation, the resource will be reviewed and updated where necessary to reflect any finalized curriculum changes.

A Complete, Connected Approach to Grade 7 Mathematics

Each phase is organized around a coherent group of learning outcomes, with opportunities for students to develop understanding, practise skills, apply their learning, and demonstrate what they know.

The resources are designed to work together:

Rather than requiring teachers to piece together materials from multiple sources, each phase provides the resources needed to teach the identified learning outcomes from beginning to assessment.
