A great introduction to toe-up sock knitting, this pattern uses clever cast-ons and cast-offs, and features a reinforced gusseted heel for improved fit.

Using a DK weight yarn makes for warmer socks and quicker knitting. What’s not to love?

Written for DPNs, Magic Loop or Two Circs – use whichever you prefer. And there are sizes for the entire family – young kids up to the largest of adult feet.

To fit, foot circumference (measured at ball of foot)

Materials
1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2) skeins Feisty Rockin DK (75% superwash merino, 25% nylon; 245 yds per 100 gm skein); sample shown in colour Glamping
Note: if you're a little short on yardage, that's fine! Just divide your yarn in two, and work the leg until your yarn runs out. 

1 set 3.25mm (US #3) needles for working small circumference in the round– traditional or flexible DPNs, two circulars or a long circular as you prefer
Stitch markers – 1 removable, and 2 ring-style

Gauge
26 sts and 34 rounds over 4 inches/10 cm square in stockinette stitch
